Firmware – Release 1.0.0 Alpha 26 (20251111)

Changes since last release:

  • ADC sensors set global faults - allows other code modules to detect sensor faults
    • CAN broadcast can broadcast these faults
  • Add CAN logger functionality
  • Wideband O2 control
    • Change warmup logic to ensure slow warmup on cold start
    • Estimate sensor temperature when sensor temperature is low
    • Other safety features to preserve sensor life
    • Control wideband pumping reference current (more accurate sensing)
    • Errors trigger global faults
  • Pit lane limiter allows RPM and VSS instead of just VSS
  • CEL works without a physical light output
  • CEL works on min/max volts instead of ADC counts
  • CLT/MAT trigger CEL based on sensor calibration settings and use global faults
  • Use status16 for oil pressure warning, trigger in Lotus CAN broadcast
  • Throttle target modifier (connect to custom tables, custom calculations, etc.)
  • Enable missing settings for Calculated Fields
  • Fix issue with VVT learn decoder where it briefly falsely displays an angle of 41 degrees immediately after learning
  • Correct battery voltage to be accurate to actual voltage (May change dwell/deadtime lookups)
  • Electronic Throttle Control tracking and stop avoidance improvements (will require retuning PID settings)
  • Fix loggers (CAN, tach scope, etc...) so they don't randomly pause sending data
  • Fix an issue observed with 60-2 and second trigger where trigger angles over 330 degrees would have timing off by 2 teeth (12 degrees). Users must re-check ignition timing and fix tooth #1 angle if timing is off. Could occur on other missing tooth crank wheel plus cam trigger wheel configurations as well.
  • Synchronize datalog data to datalog storage every few seconds to avoid data loss on standby power loss
  • Update datalog filesystem code (bug fixes)
  • Add SDCard format command (use if datalog flash becomes corrupt, causing datalogging to stop working)
