So here are a couple of dyno graphs showing before and after installing an Axiom ECU. The first graph (red and green) is a modified Miata engine upgraded from stock 99 Miata ECU to Axiom.
The second (shades of red and blue) is MS3 to Axiom and its a car that has been my MS3 test bed for 14 years

Hey Jeff,

On the 2nd graph, Axiom made more power/torque than MS3?

Where it mattered for us (above 5K) yes. The VW intake manifold (2.0L ABA) creates an odd power curve. We generally ignore the true torque peak as it's too low to be useful on track.

Wow, very interesting!
Still 5.5% more power at 7100 just from an ECU swap.

Yeah, surprised the hell out of us. Since then, the car has had an intake manifold change, a camshaft change, and has been converted to drive by wire.
And the owner/driver is 75 years young.
