Overview:

The AxiomEFI 600 Engine Management System is a 3-connector standalone ECU useful for racing applications. AxiomEFI provides superior engine control for fuel, ignition, VVT, boost, and other systems. It is recommended for up to 8 cylinders or up to 4 rotors. Featuring dual throttle control, electronic waste-gate control, learning functionality, dual channel knock control, and several other critical features, the AxiomEFI 600 Engine Management system covers all racing needs. To make calibrators’ jobs easier, AxiomEFI Engine Management Systems feature AxiomEFI Tune: a fast, lightweight, user-friendly tuning software package for calibrators’ PC laptops.

  • Support for 1-12 cylinder engines (Recommended for up to 8 cylinders, but supports up to 12)
  • Support for 2-4 rotor engines, including support for factory Mazda ignition systems (or custom)

Features:

  • Low Impedance injector control with programmable peak and hold duties and times.
  • Support for 2 Throttle by Wire throttle bodies – requires pedal input (2 analog inputs) for a single pedal, and 2 analog inputs + 1 throttle output (2 wires) per throttle. Throttle outputs can be used as outputs for other features if not used by throttles
  • Support for 2 Electronic waste-gates – requires 1 analog input and 1 e-gate output (2 wires) per waste-gate. Outputs may be used for other features if not used by waste-gates. Can be used at the same time as the 2 throttles.
  • Closed loop short-term fuel trim with built-in lambda sensor controllers. Control 2 banks with built-in lambda, or up to one per cylinder with multiple external CAN-based controllers
  • Long-term fuel trim/learning – can be tuned to be as fast or slow changing as desired.
  • Support for stepper (requires 4 or 6 wires depending on the motor type), and 2 or 3 wire PWM idle speed controllers (requires 1-2 wires respectively) with closed-loop control.
  • On-board datalogging – up to 1000Hz and PC datalogging (up to 50 Hz). 32G internal storage. Fast download of internal datalogs (typically 2-3M/sec.)
  • Dual knock control inputs with high-speed internal band-pass digital filtering
  • Staged injection with up to 2 stages and different sized injectors for each stage
  • Boost control (closed and open-loop, CO2, e-gate, and standard solenoid) with boost by gear, boost by road speed, etc.
  • Dynamic tuning table resolution up to 31×31 on specific tables
  • Custom calculations and tables with user-selectable Axes to modify fuel and ignition timing – implement your own accel enrichment, traction control, and other strategies.
